Long Fence has provided quality fencing products for residential consumers since 1945 as well as commercial fencing for thousands of private and public customers. Wanting to relocate their administrative headquarters to Odenton, MD, the site includes a 17,000 SF, two-story stick-framed design office building and a 17,000 SF, one-story warehouse with a 2,000 SF stick-framed mezzanine. Three out-buildings also are located on the site with square footages of 7,000 SF, 7,772 SF and 10,600 SF. This Class B+ office building with complete tenant fitout includes spaces for administration, sales offices for commercial and residential clients, conference rooms and galley lunchrooms. The building was designed using sustainable materials such as cotton insulation, renewable linoleum flooring, VOC paints and ceiling tiles with recycled content. The building design was based on a two-story structural frame attached to a pre-engineered metal building for the warehouse only providing a cost savings to the Owner during construction.
