Located in Crownsville, Maryland, this 4,400 SF private waterfront home commands stunning views over the Severn River. The exterior includes wide white trim that incorporates swoops and flairs over bay windows and above the stone base to soften the edges. Copper roofs add accent elements that when it ages will offer brilliant patina color to the scheme. Entering the home, visitors have a clear view through the house to the Severn River beyond. The entry space is two stories with a faceted ceiling at the entry dome. The hall leading to the living area displays a curved Venetian plastered ceiling with cove lighting. The L-shaped staircase leads up through the entry dome and to the second floor guest bedroom, office and master bedroom suite. Seeking a spa feeling in the master bathroom, sleek Scandinavian cabinetry, a steam shower and large soaking tub were installed. Landscaping with stone sidewalk and pathways, along with native plants and grasses complete the grounds.
