Computer based technology that provides speech output to assist children and adults in communication is increasingly being used. Interactive technology can support collaboration, communication, and engaged learning. In the design of facilities for individual disabilities, systems for lighting control, sound enunciator systems, computer-based learning programs and overall, a technology-enhanced classroom help support the special needs population in learning and success.
